Lewis W. Wallace, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed peacefully to Heaven on January 6, 2018 in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born September 11, 1928 to William Earl Wallace and Verna Grace (Myers) Wallace.
Lewis farmed and worked construction. He was a Seventy Year member of the Masonic Moore Lodge #303 and was Past Master #303. He was Worthy Patron of EOS #341. Lewis enjoyed horse racing, friends, and family.
Survivors include: three daughters: Marcia L. (Dave) McConnell of Bloomington, IN, Sandra K. (Scott) Jones of Westerville, OH, and Michelle (Jeff) Bower of Marlboro, VT; four sons: Michael Wallace of Springfield, IL, William Alan (Lil) Wallace Of Wentzville, MO, Randall (Robin) Wallace of Aiken, SC and Mark L. Wallace of Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Bert Myers Wallace of Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren, several nieces, and several nephews.
Lewis was preceded in death by: his wife, Marilyn Wallace; his parents; brothers, Ernest Leroy and Milton Steven Wallace.
Public visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018. A Masonic service will be held at 4:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Brother Richard Smith officiating. A private burial will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, IN.
