Thomas E. Kirkman

Thomas E. Kirkman, 83, of Avoca, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Linton, Indiana. He was born on November 23, 1934 in Avoca, Indiana to Rosco E. and Bernice (Franklin) Kirkman.

Survivors include: two sons, Bradley (Bonnie) Kirkman of Odon and John (Melissa) Kirkman of Ohio; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, Daniel (Ann) Kirkman of Bedford and one sister, Joan Burton of Orleans.

Thomas was preceded in death by: his parents; one son, Jeffrey Kirkman; two sisters, Patricia and Carol; two brothers, Robert and William.

Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Bethel Mennonite Church in Odon with ministering friends officiating. Thomas will be laid to rest in Union Chapel Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 – 4:30 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 7 and from 2:00 – 4:30 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, January 8 at the Bethel Mennonite Church.
