Frank R. Armstrong, Jr.

Frank R. Armstrong, 76, of Odon, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his family, on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 29, 1943 in Chester, South Carolina to Frank R., Sr. and Martha (Jackson) Armstrong. Frank and his wife, Sandra K. (Cranford) Armstrong, just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. They were married on December 7, 1962.

Frank was a member of the Odon First Christian Church and the Lions Club. He retired as a Supervisory Electronics Technician in Radar at Crane.

Family left to cherish the memory of Frank include: his wife, Sandra Armstrong of Odon; one son, Daniel Lee Armstrong; three grandchildren, Ricky Armstrong, Josh Atchley and Abigail Armstrong.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, son, Frankie Armstrong III and sister, Susan (Armstrong) Pedigo.

Funeral services to honor the life of Frank will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Odon First Christian Church with Bro. Dick Smith officiating. Frank will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, all at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Frank to the Odon Winklepleck Library. Envelopes will be available at the church.
