Kenneth Resler

Kenneth Resler, 69, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Washington, Indiana. He was born on December 16, 1949 in Daviess County, Indiana to Lonnie Dale and Charlotte Irene (Totton) Resler.

Kenneth was a member of the Odon Masonic Lodge, Sons of the American Legion and Odon VFW Post #9627 Auxiliary, where he was privileged to play Taps at all VFW Military Services. He retired from Crane in 2003.

Family left to cherish his memory includes: three sons, Brian (Shannon) Resler of Naperville, IL, Richard Dale (Judy) Resler and Jake (Amy) Resler, both of Indianapolis; step-daughters, Heather (Jason) Perkins of Springville and Micah (Chuck) Gallion of Terre Haute; eleven grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd (Annie) Resler of Loogootee, Russell (Joyce) Resler of Bloomfield and Lonnie (Kathy) Resler of Spencer; three sisters, Delores (Rob) Curry of Bonner, MT, Myrna (Jerry) Smith of Tucson, AZ and Kay (Bob) Seppala of East Lansing, MI; sister-in-law, Beverly Resler of Mason, MI; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Argel Resler and infant Dale Resler.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 AM on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon with Tim Maryfield officiating. Kenneth will be laid to rest following graveside rites by the Odon VFW Post #9627 Auxiliary.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Odon VFW Post #9627, 212 East Elnora St., Odon, IN 47562.
