Mary Ann Pierson

Mary Ann Pierson, 73, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven with loved ones at her side, on Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on October 1, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Alfred E. and Verna M. (Price) Blakesley. Mary Ann married her loving husband, E. Kennon ‘Ken’ Pierson on July 29, 1983.

 Mary Ann was a member of the Odon First Christian Church, Delta Kappa Phi and former board member of Ketcham Memorial Center for 18 years. She also served on several mission trips with her church. Mary Ann worked as an LPN and then became a Nursing Home Administrator.

 Family left to cherish the memory of Mary Ann includes: her husband, Ken Pierson; son, Mark (Kim) Pierson of Lawrenceburg; daughter, Michele (Monty) Ream of Logansport; granddaughter, Kennedy Ream of Logansport and sister, Ruth M. Sprague of Fort Wayne.

 Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Scott W. Grove.

 Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Odon First Christian Church with Pastor Micah Stephen officiating. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 29, 2019.

 Family and friends may call from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the church.

 Memorial contributions may be made to Ketcham Memorial Center Greenhouse Project. Envelopes will be available at the church.
