Richard Lee Wilson, Sr.

Richard Lee Wilson, Sr., 64, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Evansville. He was born on July 29, 1953 in Hobart, Indiana to Henry and Ruth (Miller) Wilson. He married his wife, Angela K. (Mink) Wilson on December 12, 2006.

Richard was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Washington. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be missed.

Survivors include: his wife, Angela Wilson of Washington; four sons, Christopher Lauderback of Logansport, Robert Wilson, Richard L. Wilson, Jr. and Anthony Wilson, all of Portage; daughters, Hilda (Marvin) Lengacher of Odon, Erica Wilson of Peru, IN and April (Ray) Piumti of Portage; brothers, Ronald (Rhonda) Wilson of Lake Station, Michael (Geniveve) Wilson of Peoria, IL and Donald Wilson of Ft. Wayne; sisters, Donna Wilson of Knox, Phyllis (Joe) Zambrana and Sandra Wilson, both of Lake Station, Patricia (Ron) Wilson of MN, Barbara (Willie) Smith of Winslow, Janet Lemmon and Mary Gullans, both of Washington and Bonnie Sansome of CO.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly Baldwin.

There will be a Memorial Gathering from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, October 21, 2017 at the 2nd Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Odon, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, through the funeral home, to help with expenses.
