Robert H. 'Bob' Myers

Robert H. Myers, 76, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven, surrounded by loved family, on Friday, September 20, 2019 at his home. He was born on May 7, 1943 in Monroe County, Indiana to Harold M. and Edna F. (McClary) Myers. Bob married his loving wife of 54 years, Connie Sue (Johnson) Myers on July 2, 1965.

Bob was a US Navy Veteran and was a member of the Odon Church of the Nazarene, where he served as a church board member, Caravan Director and with Feed My Sheep. He was also a member of the Linton American Legion Post #22 and The Washington Boat Club. Bob retired from RCA in 1987 with 25 years of service.

Family left to cherish the memory of Bob includes: his wife, Connie Sue Myers of Odon; one son, David Myers of Odon; one daughter, Tamara Myers of Southport; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles (Doris) Myers of Ellettsville, Terry (Connie) Myers of Owensburg, Larry (Barb) Myers of Linton and Gary (Brenda) Myers of Bloomfield; one sister, Vickie (Denny) Butcher of Ellettsville.

Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; two sons, Steven and Jeffrey Myers; one brother, Danny Myers.

Funeral services honoring the life of Bob will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Odon Nazarene Church with Pastor Chris Hughes officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon following military graveside rites by the Linton American Legion Post #22 and Odon VFW Post #9627.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bob to the Odon Nazarene Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
