Treva M. (Arney) Smith

Treva Smith, 86, of Odon, Indiana, passed away, with her loving family at her side, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born in Daviess County, Indiana on August 5, 1932 to Ermal and Lillie (Neiswanger) Arney.

Treva was a member of the Odon Christian Church. She worked as a nurses’ aide at Daviess County Hospital, Rockwood Hospital in Tennessee and Ketcham Memorial Center and was an assembler at Martin-Marietta in Florida before retiring from Crane Research Lab.

Family left to cherish the memory of Treva includes: three sons, Bradley (Sheryl) Sears of Conroe, TX, Michael Sears of Odon and Gregory (Claudia) Sears of Houston, TX; two daughters, Linda Sears of Galveston, TX and Kay Sears of Elkton, VA; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Treva was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Arney.

At Treva’s request, there will be no public viewing and a private family service was held.
