LINTON - Alfred L. Barnett, age 83, of Linton, died on Tuesday April 25, 2006 at the Residence. He was born on January 10, 1923 to Arreatus and Clementine(VanDeneede) Barnett. He married Merry E. Harrell on April 2, 1944. He was member of the Linton Church of Christ and Frank Courtney American Legion Post #22. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery on 04/28/2006 12:00 PM. He is survived by Spouse, Merry(Harrell) Barnett of Linton, IN. Daughter, Sheryl Schmelzer of Hudson, OH. Son, Mark Barnett of Linton, IN. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Barnett of Garden City, MI and one sister, Mable McHaley of Muncie, IN.
