Alice R. Breeden, 82, of Eckerty, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by her side, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her home. She was born on April 17, 1943 in Fresno, California to Chester and Martha (Dannels) Rich. Alice married the love of her life, Clarence Breeden on February 3, 1962.

Alice was a member of the Otwell Wesleyan Church. She was a retired CNA and Beautician. Alice loved flowers, making crafts, Western movies and was an avid Yard Saler. She was a very giving person and enjoyed giving of her time, especially when volunteering at the AA Club in Springfield, Illinois.

Family left to cherish the memory of Alice includes: four sons, Skip (Pam) Breeden, Gregery (Anita) Breeden, Christopher (Zoe) Breeden and Timothy (Jessica) Breeden; two daughters, Michelle (Steve) Johnson and Chassidy (Diane) Gluck; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and one sister, Lois Capps.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Breeden; son, Harold 'Hal' Breeden and brother, Chester Rich.

Funeral services to honor the life of Alice will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Rev. Bob England officiating. Alice will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon at a later date.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12 Noon on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
