LINTON - Arthur R. "Toad" Ball, age 72, of Linton, died on Saturday March 18, 2006 at his Residence. He was born on June 8, 1933 to Daniel and Pearl (Colbert) Ball. He married Shirley A. Wright on December 8, 1956. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Frank Courtney American Legion Post # 22 and he was a firefighter for the Linton Fire Department for 20 years. Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery on March 21,2006 10:30 AM. He is survived by Wife,Shirley (Wright) Ball of Linton, IN. Son, TJ Ball, Son, Odus Ball, Son, Mickey Ball all of Linton, IN Sister, Grace Johnson of Culver City, CA. Brother, Lester Ball, Brother, Danny Ball both of Linton, IN. Sister, June Earle, Sister, Elaine (Peggy) Owen all of Linton, IN. He had 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Terry and Timothy Ball, five brothers and four sister. Memorial contributions may be made to Greene Co. Hospice.
