Bennett J. LeSuer, 85, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven to be with Jesus with family by his side at home, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1940, in Calais, Maine, to Walter E. LeSuer and Ada (Benner) LeSuer Caldwell. Bennett married his loving wife, Helen I. (Hobbs) LeSuer on August 30, 1970.

Bennett was US Air Force Military Police Veteran. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton. Bennett worked at Carlisle Correctional Facility before retiring in 2021. He enjoyed watching all sporting events, especially the Purdue Boilermakers and Larry Bird.

Family left to cherish the memory of Bennett include his wife, Helen LeSuer; four sons, Lloyd (Jennifer) LeSuer, Bennett LeSuer, Marshall (Debbie) LeSuer, and Maurice (Kellie Rutledge) LeSuer; two daughters, Amy (Tim) Moores and Anna (Dean) Pierce; 19 grand grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one sister, Joan (Paul) Stanhope of Georgia; sister-in-law, Marge LeSuer and many other family and friends also survive.

Bennett was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Deborah Ruth Correll; two granddaughters, Corinne and Alexandra; brother, Gary LeSuer and sister, Sally Adams.

Funeral services to honor the life of Bennett will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church, 9825 W. State Road 54, Linton, Indiana with Pastor John Riker officiating. Bennett will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Christian School. Envelopes will be available at the church.
