Charles R. Flinn, 87, of Elnora, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. He was born on December 10, 1929 in Daviess County, Indiana to Russell and Susie Elizabeth (Myers) Flinn. He married Bonnie M. Langdon on July 10, 1949.

Charles was a US Army veteran. He was a member of the Elnora Christian Church. Charles was an employee of the County Highway Department until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, IU sports and especially spending time with grandkids and great-grandkids.

Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Flinn; two sons, Charles 'Sonny' (Bill Stafford, Jr.) Flinn of Greenwood and Mike (Ruth Ann) Flinn of Elnora; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Dove of Elnora and Evelyn Pershing of Lafayette.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, June 29 at Elnora Christian Church in Elnora with Rev. Richard Smith officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 29 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Friday, at the church.
