Charles Adam Payne, 68, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on September 27, 1952 in Stuttgart, Germany to Charles T. Payne and Donna (Margene) Forney. Charles married his loving wife, Ahlawan (Thonsantia) Payne on April 20, 2001.

Charles was a US Army veteran and a member of the Odon VFW Post #9627. He was a program analyst at Crane before his retirement. He enjoyed bowling in his spare time.

Family left to cherish the memory of Charles include: his wife, Ahlawan Payne; his son, Jeremy Payne of Bedford; his stepson, Charles Waldo of Bloomington and step-daughter, Michelle Waldo.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Odon United Methodist Church.  A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating.
