82, of Worthington, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 1st, 2005. He was the son of Leonard and Gladys (Hill) Green. He was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church, served in the US Army during WW II and was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth (Cooprider) Green, one daughter, Brenda Spurgeon of Jasonville, one son Gary Green of Cicero, three grandsons, Keith, Shawn, Chad Green, two great granddaughters, Madison and Maci Green. He is also survived by two brothers, Bernard of Linton, Vernal of Worthington, three sisters Rosemary Green of Linton, Thelma Green of Bloomington and Dorothy Welsh of Terre Haute.
