Christopher W. Allen, 45, of Odon, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, IN.  He was born on January 20, 1979, in Russellville, KY, to Oscar Winn Allen and Brenda M. (Burnett) Archer.  Christopher married Tola D. (Boyd) on December 12, 2021.

Chris drove for LVG construction crew.  He liked working with wood and spent much of his leisure time fishing and listening to music.

Family members who will treasure memories of Chris include his wife, Tola, his parents, Winn Allen of KY and Brenda Archer of Dale; a brother, Derrik Archer of Vincennes; a sister, Wendy Michelle Wilson of Bennington, VT; and a stepbrother, Kevin Archer of Odon.

Chris was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Archer; maternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Burnett; and paternal grandparents, Emerson and Marie Allen.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Steve Sims officiating. Chris will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, IN.
