Christopher Jon Kelsey, 48, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born on July 30, 1974 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Randy L. Kelsey and Mary L. (Beasley) Phillips. Chris was married to Cindy L. (Chestnut) Kelsey on December 20, 2020.

Chris was a member of the Odon United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the local Operator's Union and worked on the I-69 project. Chris enjoyed woodworking, arrowhead hunting and junking.

Family left to cherish the memory of Chris include: his wife, Cindy Kelsey; his father, Randy (Karen) Kelsey; his mother, Mary (Damon) Phillips, all of Odon; one son, Logan Kelsey of Odon; one daughter, Megan (Josh) Sluder of Petersburg; two grandchildren; maternal grandmother, Marion Beasley of Odon; one sister, Beth Walker of Odon; three step-children, Brooke Karns, Brittany Karns and Brandon Karns, all of Odon.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Beasley and Karl and Ann Kelsey.

There will be no services.
