Cornelius (Tom) Jordan, 94, of Mount Carmel, IL, formerly of Fort Myers, FL, and Indianapolis, IN, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024, in Mount Carmel, IL. Born in Mount Carmel, IL, on August 26, 1930, he was the son of William and Anna Jordan. On October 28, 1961, he married Karolyn K. Nierste. Tom joined the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #440 in 1964 and retired from service in 1991. He was a devoted Christian, loving husband and father. He was a member of the MorningStar Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Florida.

Survivors include his daughters, Shelia P. Jones (Mike), Cheryl L. Scott, Denisa K. Wineinger (Mark), and son, Brian F. Jordan. Tom is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, sons Mark A. Jordan, and Jeffery A. Jordan, and Karolyn Kay, his wife of 45 years.

Funeral services honoring Tom's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, with Pastor James Riddle officiating.  Family and friends may call 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, at the Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton, IN.  Tom will be laid to rest following his funeral at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
