Daniel William Dent, 66, of Odon, Indiana, passed from this life, on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on June 13, 1958 in Washington, Indiana to William Edie Dent and Luella Mae (Jones) Hughes.

Daniel worked at the Crane Depot as a Meat Department Manager. He enjoyed bass tournaments, motocross and liked playing in pool tournaments.

Family left to cherish the memories of Daniel include: one daughter, Danyel (Travis) Watson; two grandchildren, Savannah (Cody) Smith and Dalton Watson; one great-granddaughter on the way, Charlotte Smith; one brother, Larry (Margaret) Dent and one sister, Patricia (Frank) Wallace.

Daniel was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Jami Dent; sisters, Judith Stuffle and Barbara Anderson.

A celebration of life will be at 12 Noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Second Mount Olive Baptist Church in Odon. In honor of Daniel, the family requests you wear jeans, t-shirts and flannel shirts.
