David L. Ferguson, 73, of Odon, Indiana, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, October 13, 2025, at his home. He was born December 11, 1951 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Edward C. and Thelma L (Boyd) Ferguson.

David attended the Christian church and worked as a medical technologist. He enjoyed sailing boats and he loved the water, the oceans and painted portraits.

Family left to cherish the memories of David include his sister, Marcia K. Ferguson of Elnora.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be at 12:30 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon with John Windell officiating. David will be laid to rest following the service.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Friday at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.
