Deborah Anne Barnard, 68, of Switz City, Indiana, passed away at her residence, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was born on July 28, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Cecel Disney, Jr. and Ruth Elizabeth (Miller) Lambermont. Debi married James Milford Barnard on December 31, 1975.

Debi worked as a store manager before retiring in 2011. She loved fishing, the ocean, lighthouses and especially spending time with her family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Debi include: her husband, James Barnard; son, C.J. (Andrea) Barnard of Newburgh; daughter, Sonya (Robert) Thompson of Lyons; grandchildren, Taylor (Matt) Pease, Elijah Barnard, Amelie Barnard, Jude Barnard; brothers, Davi Disney of Texas, Randy (Linda) Lambermont of Brazil and Joe Disney of Martinsville; sisters, Deb (Bill) Kinnett of Jasonville and Lenda Disney of Martinsville; brother and sister-in-laws, Elgie (Jim) Avery, Dan (Linda) Barnard, Charlie (Sharon) Barnard and Bill Barnard; sisters-in-law, Jane Disney, Ruth Disney and Sandy Lambermont. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Debi was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Chuck Disney, Ed Lambermont, Rodney Lambermont and Timothy Disney; sister-in-law, Dorothy Spraker.

There will be no public viewing or services.
