Debra 'Debbie' L. Riggins, 70, of Odon, Indiana, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on August 31, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1954, in Linton, Indiana to Jesse and Eula (Richards) Thomas. Debbie married her beloved husband, Teddy Riggins, on April 4, 1982.

Debbie was a member of the Odon Christian Church. She worked as a teacher for the School Bears Pre-School in Linton, serving families for several years.

Family left to cherish the memory of Debbie include her sons, Sage (Nichole) Riggins of Odon, Matthew (Elizabeth) Riggins of Linton; daughter, Beth Ann (Thomas) Gray of Washington; and grandchildren, Alexcis, Robert, Bryce, Mason, and Emerson.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Teddy, brother, Danny Thomas, and sister, Dedra Carr.

Funeral services to honor the life of Debbie will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 4, at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Keagan Thomas officiating. Debbie will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, Indiana.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 3, at the funeral home.
