Delmar C. Hartsburg, 85, of Sandborn died November 30, 2005 at his residence. He was born on May 15, 1920 to Herman and Alma (Klutey) Hartsburg. He married Marjorie R. Buck on December 18, 1947. He was a member of the VFW Post 7983. Delmar is survived by his five sons, Richard C. Hartsburg of Texas, Daniel C. Hartsburg of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dean A. Hartsburg of Pierron, Illinois, Douglas L. Hartsburg of Trenton, Illinois, Dallas D. Hartsburg of Sandborn, Indiana, one daughter Darlene L. Newlan of Dallas City, Illinois and eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dale Hartsburg of Freelandville, Indiana and his sister DeVonne DeVore of Brookland, Indiana. Delmar is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and four brothers. Visitation will be Sunday December 4, 2005 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Monday December 5, 2005 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Services will be held on Monday December 5, 2005 11:00 am at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel; Rev. Tom Anderson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Westphalia, Indiana.
