Donald M. Baize, Sr., 78, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born on October 8, 1942 in Linton to Estile Leon and Eula Pearl (Slaven) Baize. Don married the love of his life, Eunice C. Baize on May 29, 1968.

Don was a Retired US Navy Veteran, serving in the Vietnam Era. He was a life member of the American Legion Post #22 in Linton and was a Fleet Reserve Member at Large. Don worked at Crane Naval Base in supply for 22 years before retiring in 2007.

Family left to cherish the memory of Don include: three sons, Don (Fran) Baize of Linton, Kenneth (Lor Ryn) Baize of Wheatland and Jeffrey (Evelyn) Baize of Greenfield; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and fiancée, Linda Goodman.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice, his mother, his father and one sister, Sherry Marshall.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Newberry Cemetery in Newberry, Indiana. Don will be laid to rest following military graveside rites by the American Legion Post #22.
