Donald G. Whited, 80, of Laurinburg, NC, formerly of Linton, IN passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1940 in Muncie, IN to Hubert Roy and Lila Virginia (Piner) Whited. He married LaDona J. (Williams) Whited on November 7, 2018.

Donald was a US Navy veteran with 20 years of service. After retiring from the Navy, he was a bus driver for the City of Muncie. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Sullivan.

Family left to cherish the memory of Donald include: his wife, LaDona Whited; two sons, Ronnie Whited of Anderson, David Whited of New Castle; daughter, Tammy Whited of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, nieces, nephews; three brothers, Jack Whited, Fred Whited and David Whited.

Donald was preceded in death by: his parents; 2nd wife, Peggy and brother, Roy.

Private graveside services for Donald will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Merom Cemetery in Merom, Indiana with Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Donald will be laid to rest following military graveside rites that will be conducted by the Sullivan American Legion Post #139.
