Donna L. (Palmer) Wilkin, 91, of Elnora, Indiana, passed from this life, on Monday, February 19, 2024 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on April 25, 1932 to Mattie (Sims) and Otto Palmer, Sr. Donna married E. Elwood 'Woody' Wilkin on September 14, 1953.

Donna was a member of the Elnora Christian Church and a 60+ year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. After 20 years of service, she retired from Graham Cheese Corporation. Donna loved family and time spent with them. She enjoyed visiting with friends, traveling, attending and viewing sporting events, and reading.

Family left to cherish the memories of Donna include children, Susan (RT) Green of Indianapolis, IN; Ed (Lorri) Wilkin of Bloomington, IN; Connie Wilkin of Bloomington, IN; and Judy (Brian) Thrasher of Worthington, IN, grandchildren, Collin (Marie) Green of Indianapolis, IN; Vince (Kristin) Green of Fort Wayne, IN; Laura (Jonathan) Crone of Bloomington, IN; Kyle Crone of Bloomington, IN; Garrett Thrasher of Brazil, IN; Cole (Brittany) Thrasher of Camby, IN; and Mattie Thrasher of Worthington, IN; great-grandchildren, Violet Thrasher, Raylin Green, Lucas Safford, George Green, J.T. Green. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woody Wilkin, grandson Justin Wilkin, sister Gloria Palmer Haltom and brother Otto Palmer, Jr.

Funeral services to honor the life of Donna will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Craig Moore officiating. Donna will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Elnora.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
