Obituary

Dorothy Ines England, 83, of Sandborn, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at her residence in Sandborn, Indiana. Born in Burns City, Indiana, on February 28, 1923, she was the daughter of Perry and Elmyra (Earl) Terrell. On September 27, 1944 she married Robert "Bob" Emerson England, Sr. Dorothy worked at NWSC Crane (retired in 1988) and later at the Blue Jay Junction. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She attended the Sandborn Christian Church and was a member of AFG Union at Crane. Survivors include her husband; Bob England Sr., son; Bobby England of Sandborn, daughter; Anna Bilyeu of Linton, granddaughter; Dawn Ann Thompson of Xenia, IL, and great-grandson; Devon Micheal Wood of Sandborn. She is also survived by two brothers; Raymond (Esther) Terrell of Linton, Ivan (Patty) Terrell of Colstrip, MT, five sisters; Faye (Jay) Shake of Odon, Edna Johnson of Elnora, Esther Knight of Odon, Wilma (Jim) Heshelman of Sandborn, Lois (Jim) Pieper of Sandborn, and one sister-in-law; Marcella "Peg" Woodruff of Odon, IN. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Ernest Terrell, three sisters; Bernice Carrico, Hazel Maryfield, and Mae Morrison. Friends may call at Sandborn Christian Church 4:00 to 8:00 CST PM Thursday, January 4, 2007, and from 11:00 CST AM until the hour of service. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007, at 1:00 CST PM with Bryan Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn.
