Edna L. Johnson, 86, Of Elnora, Indiana, went to Heaven, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 5, 1933 in Martin County, Indiana to Perry and Mary Elmira (Earl) Terrell. Edna married Thomas V. 'Tinker' Johnson on December 12, 1954.

Edna was a member of the American Legion Post #245 Ladies' Auxiliary and was of the Christian faith. She was a homemaker and worked at the Odon Locker. Edna enjoyed crocheting, camping and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family left to cherish the memory of Edna include: two sons, Roy V. Johnson of Elnora and Randy (Amy) Johnson of Washington; one daughter, Sheila (Clyde) Robertson of Bedford; grandchildren, Travis (Brett) Yenne, Dustin (Hannah) Yenne, Mindy (Adam) Alford, Terri Michelle (Cameron) Craney, Savanna (Nathan) Burris, Christina Johnson (Logan), Damian Hill and Mathew Hill; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois (Jim) Pieper of Sandborn, Esther Knight of Linton and Fae (Jay) Shake of Odon; several nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, 'Tinker' Thomas; daughter, Rebecca; great-grandson, Levi Lyons; three brothers, Ernest, Raymond and Ivan Terrell; five sisters, Bernice Carrico, Dorothy England, Mae Morrison, Hazel Maryfield and Wilma Heshelman.

Funeral services to honor the life of Edna will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Dennis Cecil and Jim Pieper officiating. Edna will be laid to rest in Elnora Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 30 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
