Frederick Eugene Duckworth, born January 27, 1942 in Linton, Indiana. He was the son of Hubert (Ducky) and Inez (Bedwell) Duckworth. Frederick died on April 20, 2006 following a lengthy illness. Frederick and his wife, Doris resided in Denver, Colorado. He was formerly employed at Peabody Hawthorne Coal Mine before moving to Colorado. A memorial service was held on April 23, 2006 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel in Denver, Colorado. Surviving relatives; two daughters; Michelle (Duckworth) and husband Scott Yoho of Bloomfield, Marlena (Duckworth) Gibson of Jasonville, two sons; Michael (Karen) Duckworth of Jasonville, Eric (Jennifer) Duckworth of Miles City, Montana, one brother; Melvin (Kathy) Duckworth of Dugger, one sister; Lisa (Duckworth) Ball of Linton; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Phillip Nolan Duckworth. Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel is handling the local arrangements for the family.
