Gerald (Wayne) Hasler, 55, of Linton, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital of Terre Haute, Indiana. Born in Greene County Indiana, on August 14, 1951, he was the son of Ralph Lee and Doris J. (Bruner) Hasler. Wayne was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #546 and the Loyal Order of the Moose #1434.

Survivors include Waynes companion, Sue Souders of Linton; his mother, Doris J. Hasler; one son, Michael W. Hasler and companion (Morna Blakely) of Lyons; two grandchildren: Miranda Lea and Rikki Dawn Hasler; and a sister, Jean (Raymond) Lisman of Carlisle; his extended family members, Kim (Scott) Wiesmann and 3 children and Kenneth (Valerie) Souders and 2 children. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hasler in July, 1952.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2007, and from 9:00 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2007 until the hour of service. Funeral services will be held at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel on Tuesday, February 26, 2007, at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Catchem officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons, Indiana.
