Gordon Leonard Hintz, 75, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life, with his loving family by his side at his home, on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was born on June 25, 1948 in Owatonna, Minnesota to William Hintz and Irene (Johnson) Young. Gordon married his loving wife, Lena (Boyles) Hintz, on January 12, 1985.

Gordon worked as a supervisor at Rescar in Robinson, Illinois until retiring in 2010. He loved to fish and loved his family, especially his grandkids.

Family left to cherish the memory of Gordon include: his wife, Lena Hintz; four sons, Mark (Tammy) VanHorn of Linton, Gordon 'Jamey' Hintz of Bloomfield, Yantzee (Kathy) Hintz of Theodore, AL and Mike (Delisa) Hintz of Linton; two daughters, Mikki Hintz of Linton and Mandi (Bob) Cornelius of Dugger; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerry Hintz of Big Lake, MN.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Darlene and Beverley.

Honoring Gordon's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
