Hallie McNabb, 96, of Bloomington, Indiana, went to Heaven, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born on August 3, 1928, in Odon, Indiana to Oliver and Gladys (Masters) Burks.

Hallie was a member of the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene and attended Oolitic Pentecostal Church. She loved going to church. She worked various jobs including Invalid and aged care. She worked at RCA for several years as well.

The family left to cherish the memory of Hallie including three sons, Stephen Padgett, Rickey Padgett and Darin and Tina Padgett. Grandchildren, Tracy Tally Padgett, Rachael Padgett and Christopher James Padgett; great-grandson, James Scott Padgett.

Hallie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Don Burks and Dean Burks; four sisters, Alene Bowman, Winfered Garrett, Rowena Turner and June Glaze.

Funeral services to honor the life of Hallie will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Brother Marty Spears officiating. Hallie will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
