Helen L. May, 93, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with her loving family beside her, on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born on October 6, 1929 in Crawford County, Illinois to Leon C. and Helen E. (Haberley) Duffroy. Helen married Harold W. May on May 28, 1950.

Helen was a member of the Linton Church of Christ. She was blessed to be a homemaker, housewife and mother. She enjoyed taking care of her home and family, reading and working jigsaw puzzles.

Family left to cherish the memory of Helen include: two sons, Danny K. May of Linton, and Randall W. May of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Nancy S. (Terry) Mullis of Linton and Terri L. McGurgan of Waco,TX; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Duffroy of Loogootee and one sister, Leona Lucas of Linton.

Helen was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Harold W. May; grandson, Andy Mullis and sister, Georgetta Baize.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pat Kelly officiating. Helen will be laid to rest in Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn.

Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
