Howard E. Boyd, 86, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at his residence. He was born on April 13, 1938 in Odon, Indiana to Harold M. and Wilma (Tibbet) Boyd. Howard married the love of his life, Leona M. (Sims) Boyd, on July 28, 1959.

Howard was a forklift operator at RCA, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He loved spending time with his family.

Family left to cherish the memories of Howard include: two sons, Bob (Tracey) Boyd and Mike (Lana) Boyd, both of Odon; grandchildren, Ashlee Ballard, Stephen Boyd, Brittany Carroll and Katie Pullis; great-grandchildren, Landon Ballard, Tristen Ballard, Addilyn Ballard, Kyra Pullis and Robin Pullis; sisters, Marilyn Laughlin and Linda (Bob) Collison.

Howard was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Leona Boyd; grandson, Bobby Boyd and one infant brother.

Funeral services to honor the life of Howard will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with John Windell officiating. Howard will be laid to rest in Raglesville Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
