Jackie Earl Owen, 61, of Linton, Indiana, entered eternal rest on December 20, 2019 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born on June 8, 1958 the son of Earl Franklin Owen and Elaine 'Peggy' (Ball) Owen. Jackie's leisure time was spent fishing, as well as tinkering with old cars.

Family members left behind to cherish his memory include: his mother, Peggy of Linton; brother, Bryan Owen of Linton; niece, Brittney (Jonathon) Rutan and nephew, Ryan Owen (Dianna Broughton) both of Linton; two great-nieces, Freya and Tahlia; great nephew Nolan.

Jackie was preceded in death by his father Frank Owen in January 2019.

Funeral services will to held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Meng Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Rev. David Ball officiating. Jackie will be laid to rest at the Linton Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
