Jada Erin (Thompson) Taylor, 47, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Tell City, Indiana. She was born on July 14, 1970 in Washington, Indiana to James F. and Ellen (Madsen) Thompson.

Jada was employed at Tri-Star Glove Factory and was a homemaker. She was really proud of her home and family. Jada loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include: two daughters, Holli (Stephen) Dawson of Tell City and Mindy Taylor of Vincennes; granddaughter, Lindsey Mae Dawson of Tell City; her parents, James and Ellen Thompson; her fiance', Ron Szmanda; Ron's children, Adam (Tabitha) Szmanda of Clarksville, TN and Sara (Darren) Higgs of Bicknell; Ron's grandchildren, Addison, Kayden, Owen and Madalyn Szmanda, all of Clarksville, TN and Dalton, Ariella and Rylynn Higgs, all of Bicknell. Also survived by her grandfathers, James R. Thompson of Odon and Donald L. Madsen of Colorado.

Jada was preceded in death by her grandma, June Thompson and grandma, Betty Madsen.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM on Friday, February 23 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.
