James C. Cravens, 78, of Jasonville, IN, formally of Linton, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Home in Jasonville, Indiana.  He was born on September 15, 1942 in Linton, Indiana to Max J. and Margaret E. (Tincher) Cravens.

James was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Linton.  He worked in the warehouse for Coca-Cola in Linton for thirty years. James was an avid NASCAR and IU Basketball fan and loved his music.

Family left to cherish the memories of James include: his son, Chris Cravens of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother Mark Cravens of Linton; J Ken (Tammy) Wright, business associate and guardian angel, Bev Fish.

James was preceded in death by: his parents, brother, Doug Cravens and sister, Beth Ellen Cravens.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. Dick Smith officiating.  There will be no public calling.

In compliance with state regulations, social distancing and face masks are required by all attending.
