James Edward Ragsdale, of Elnora, Indiana, passed away on March 28, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born on March 6, 1949 in Washington, Indiana to Frank and Eva (Dougherty) Ragsdale.

Jim was a 1967 graduate of Elnora High school and attended Nashville Auto Diesel College. He retired from General Electric after 30 years of service. Jim was a member of Parkview Christian Church and enjoyed studying the Bible and watching televangelists. He loved watching basketball and westerns on TV.

Those who now cherish Jim's memory include a brother, William 'Bill' (Pat) Ragsdale, nephew, Kyle (Alexandra) Ragsdale and great-nephew, Jack Ragsdale.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents, Frank and Eva Ragsdale.

Funeral services to honor the life of Jim will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Rev. Alfred Helms officiating. Jim will be laid to rest in Plainville Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Plainville Parkview Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
