James S. Hazel, 67, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on September 3, 2026 at his residence in Freedom, with his loving wife, Dana L (Eagan) Hazel, by his side. He was born on August 11, 1959, the son of Lawrence J. Hazel and Leola A. (Woods) Hazel. Arrangements are pending at Meng Family Funeral Homes, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton and will be posted as soon as they are available.
