James 'Jim' Hoene, 71, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born on March 11, 1947 at Monroe County, Indiana to Joseph and Mary (Patton) Hoene. He married Marsha A. (Flinn) Hoene on May 11, 2007.

Jim was a member of the Shiloh Church of God. He was a factory worker, cab driver and also worked in Food Service.

Family left to cherish Jim's memory include: his wife, Marsha Hoene of Odon; three sons, James (Amber) Hoene, Joseph Hoene and Joey Hicks; two daughters, Bridget Abell and Kayla Abell; two brothers, Rodger (Margaret) Hoene and Emmett (Debbie) Hoene; sisters, Shirley May, Kay Prince and Joyce (Bob) Keutzer.

Jim was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Joey Hoene; daughter, Laura King; infant sister, Effie Hoene and an infant daughter.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Shiloh Church of God in Odon with Steve Sims officiating. There will be no public visitation.
