Jean H. Archer, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on December 24, 1932, in Fairfax, Oklahoma to James Virgil & Maggie Lee (Chancellor) Hoover. Jean married her late husband Paul E. Archer on, June 19, 1951.

Jean was a member of the Odon Nazarene Church. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her home and family.

Those left to cherish the memories of Jean include son, James Neal Archer of Linton, daughters, Linda Potts and Ruth Bickley, both of Odon, Shirley (James) Jackson of Bloomfield and Marcia (Paul) Harris of St. Anthony, IN; nineteen grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Bob (Peg) Hoover of Montgomery and sister, Ruth Archer of Oaktown.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul E. Archer; daughter, Patricia Hugunin and her husband, John; and son, Paul E. Archer, Jr.

There will be no public viewing or services. Jean will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery at a later date.
