Jerry J. Lux, 80, of Linton, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born on January 15, 1942, in Vincennes, Indiana to Francis Henry and Katherine (Primus) Lux. Jerry married his wife of 58 years, Marlene K. (Bowers) Lux, on July 18, 1964.

Jerry was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton and the Carpenters Union #841. He was a farmer, carpenter and worked at the Greene County Highway Department for 20 years.

Family left to cherish the memories of Jerry include: one son, Danny (Kelly) Lux of Linton; daughter-in-law, Terry Lux of Linton; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marlene Lux on November 6, 2022; two sons, Paul Jay Lux and infant, Raymond Jon Lux; granddaughter, Jackson Danielle Lux; great-granddaughter, Hanna Alene Faith Barton.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons with Father Simon Natha officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
