Joyce A. McConnell, 83, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed from this life, on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Majestic Care of Bloomington. She was born on June 25, 1940, in Linton, Indiana to Charles W. and Mabel A. (Peltier) Blaker.

Joyce worked in production at Cook Inc., retiring in 2006 with 30 years of service. She enjoyed her dogs, cooking, shopping and eating out with her lady friends.

Family left to cherish the memories of Joyce include: two sons, Ryan (Desiree) McConnell and Rob (Ranee) McConnell, both of Bloomington; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Randy McConnell.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor Jud Sears officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.
