Judy Ann Brown, 69, of Odon, IN, went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2017.  She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Judy was born on January 25, 1948, in Odon, IN, the daughter of Cletus A. and Maxine Autumn (Sears) Harper.  She graduated from Odon Jr. / Sr. High School in 1966. On July 28, 1968, she married Larry C. Brown, and later they were blessed with 6 children.  Judy worked at Crane as an Executive Secretary before staying home to raise their family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in the Odon Christian Church office, and playing the organ during church services.  Judy was a faithful servant of Christ and attended the Odon Christian Church for over 60 years.

Judy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Brown; her children: Wesley Brown (Kristina) of Newburgh, Wyatt Brown of Bedford, Wylie Brown (Abby) of Washington, Wayman Brown (Gretchen) of Bloomington, and Kaitlyn Brown of Odon; her grandchildren: Garrett & Clara; and sister, Peggy Gee (Jeff) of Odon.

Judy is reunited in heaven with a son, Whitney Brown, who preceded her in death in 2003, and her parents.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Riley Oncology Unit or Riley Hematology / Oncology to support her grandson, Garrett, as well as other children fighting cancer. Envelopes will be available at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the Odon Christian Church, with Richard Crabtree officiating.  Judy will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather for viewing at the Odon Christian Church from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1st, and on Wednesday, August 2nd, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 10:00 AM.
