Julie R. Bovenschen, 59, of Lyons, Indiana, went to Heaven on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on July 22, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert 'Bob' and Ruby (Marksbary) McKee. Julie married her husband, Timothy J. Bovenschen on June 11, 1993.

Julie was a member of the Sandborn United Methodist Church and the Worthington American Legion Post #106 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of service, mostly at Greene County General Hospital, when she retired in 2016. Julie enjoyed collecting antiques and working in her flowers and yard.

Family left to cherish the memory of Julie include: her husband, Tim Bovenschen; two sisters, Jeannie McKee of Linton and Mary Eversman of Brownsburg and sister-in-law, Evelyn McKee of Brownsburg.

Julie was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Mike and Bobby McKee and nephew, Andrew Parsley.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, Indiana with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
