Karen L. Buys Graduated from "life under the sun" Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Her 84 years in this world were punctuated with an abundance of adventure, blessings, and learning experiences.

Karen was a loving Mom and referred to as "Grammie". She was blessed with five children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; all of whom she loved immensely and bragged about constantly.

Karen enjoyed traveling, so it's no wonder she visited almost every state, resided in 10 of them, and even visited the country of France.

Karen valued her privacy, yet also enjoyed the people she encountered. She excelled in sharing stories, laughter, plus handmade cards, crafts, and fleece blankets.

Her confidence in GOD'S Faithfulness was unshakable — even though tested by health issues, pain, and the passing of loved ones; especially her husband Fred fourteen years ago.

All of us who knew her best and loved her most weep for our loss. However, we rejoice that she has graduated from Faith in JESUS, to being face-to-face with HIM, The One Who Died to Save her.

A private family service will take place at a later date. Karen's family is grateful for the compassion & prayers of dear friends.
