Larry D. Carlile, 39, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Nashville. He was born on June 26, 1980 to Rebecca (Hammer) Riggins. He married his wife, Amanda Carlile, on October 31, 2011.

Larry was an Executive Chef and was often in the newspaper for his culinary accomplishments. He loved the Nashville Predators, a good bourbon and his two dogs, Jack and Susie. Larry enjoyed growing his own vegetables and herbs, ice skating, playing hockey, reading and expanding his knowledge.

Family left to cherish Larry's memory include: his mother, Rebecca Riggins of Odon; one sister, Stephanie (Emery Snedigar) Smith of Odon; one brother, Tom Carlile of Fowler, IN; niece, Kelsea Carlile; nephews, Joseph Sircy and James Smith; aunts, Linda (Dave) Ferney, Patricia (Ron) Howard, both of Lafayette, Jackie (Doug) Morefield of Milford, IL and Cindy (Bob) White of Richmond.

Larry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tommie Mae Hammer.

Family and friends may view on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral at 7:00 PM with Doug Benjamin officiating, all at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
