Larry W. Ducharme, 82, of Odon, Indiana, passed away with his wife by his side, on Monday, October 11, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1939, in Cornettsville, Indiana to Jerome and Dorothy C. (Myers) Ducharme. Larry married his loving wife, Sharon Leah (Slaven) Ducharme, on July 4, 1959.

Larry was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Carpenters Union #222. He was employed as a barber, then a custodian for Raglesville School for 16 years before owning and operating Tri-County Pest Control for 27 years retiring in 2016. Larry enjoyed all types of outdoor sports, especially hunting and fishing. He liked golfing and camping at Epsom Boat Club.

Family left to cherish the memories of Larry include: his wife, Sharon Ducharme; son Lanny (Kay), daughter, Tracy (Kevin) Tuell of Odon; grandchildren, Amanda (Derek), Marlene (Dusty), Melissa (Scottie), Kyle, Heather (Levi), Bradley (Bridgette), Savanna (Jonathan); great-grandchildren, Austin, Braxton, Deacon, Delaney, Allie, Dylan, Sabastian, Cooper, Maggie, Lilly and one on the way, Elliette; sister, Susie Petty of Petersburg.

Larry was preceded in death by, his parents; one brother, one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law and a great-grandson.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Riley Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Meng Family Funeral Home at Odon with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating. Larry will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 14 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
