Lloyd E. Resler, 87, of Loogootee, Indiana, entered Heaven on June 19, 2025, with family by his side. He was born in Odon, Indiana, on October 24, 1937, to Lonnie Dale and Charlotte Irene (Totten) Resler. Lloyd married his loving wife, Charlotte A. (Inman) Resler on February 16, 1963.

Lloyd was a U.S. Army veteran and later served as an Electronics Technician at NWSC Crane until his retirement in 1994. Lloyd was a man of great faith and was a devoted husband and father. He was a member of the Frady Community Chapel and was previously a member of Burns City United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Family left to cherish Lloyd's memory are: his wife, Charlotte Resler; daughters: Tracey (Stephen) Allen, Tina (Jayme) Stemle, Terri Resler and Tresse Gordon; sons: Travis (Sue) Resler, Troy (Lisa) Resler and Timothy (Carla) Resler; sixteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Delores (Rob) Curry, Myrna (Jerry) Smith and Karen (Bob) Seppala; brothers: Russell (Joyce) Resler and Lonnie Resler; brother-in-law, Jack (Karen) Inman; sisters-in-law, Sue Hunt, Pam Clark, Alice Inman and Beverly Resler.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Lindsay Ann Allen; brothers, Argel Resler, Kenneth Resler and infant brother; sister-in-law, Kathy Resler; niece, Robin Curry and nephew, Thomas Resler.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24 at Meng Family Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Resler officiating. Lloyd will be laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery following military graveside rites presented by the US Army Honor Guard and Odon VFW Post #9627.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 23, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Lloyd's honor can be made to the Frady Community Chapel. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
