Margaret L. Krus, 73, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life, with family by her side, on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on on February 7, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry Charles and Lucille (Jaggers) Query. Margaret married Gary Lee Krus.

Margaret was of the Christian faith. She was a registered nurse, working in area hospitals and also was a licensed beautician. She retired in 2016. Margaret liked to knit and crochet.

Family left to cherish the memory of Margaret include: two sons, Matt (Leann) Krus of Linton and Gary Michael (Apolonia) Krus of Mississippi; grandchildren, Hunter, Sarah, Nathan, Emma, Ariel, Christopher and Lilly; brother, Henry Query, Jr.; sisters, Ann Cook, Jane Coryell and Pamela Query.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gary Krus.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Pastor Dick Smith officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton.
